Tuna Lettuce Wraps
Hello everyone!
So tonight’s dinner was these delicious tuna lettuce wraps, honestly this is one of my favorite go to summer recipes, specially on a weekday. It is very easy to make, doesn’t take more than 15 min and it is a great low carb dinner option.
Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Ahi tuna steaks
1 yellow bell pepper (finely chopped, seedless)
1 green bell pepper (finely chopped, seedless)
1/4 cup roasted, unsalted cashews
1 tsp minced ginger
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup coconut aminos
1 tsp sesame oil
1-2 limes
Black and white sesame seeds
Butter Lettuce (washed and dried)
Directions:
Cut Ahi tuna in small dice, this is easier to do while it is still a bit frozen
In a bowl, combine tuna, bell pepper, minced ginger and green onion.
In a small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos and sesame oil.
Add coconut aminos sauce to tuna mix and combine.
In a serving plate, make lettuce butter tacos and decorate with sesame seeds and green onions,
Add lime drops just right before you serve.
